Nurturing Pregnant and Nursing Mothers

The care of our pregnant and nursing mothers is paramount to the successful breeding process at Southcreek Shih-Tzus. We provide comprehensive nutritional guidance tailored to the needs of our expectant mothers, ensuring they receive the best possible diet during pregnancy and nursing. Our mothers are given the utmost care and attention in a comfortable and stress-free environment, which greatly contributes to the health and well-being of their puppies. We believe that the support and care of our mother dogs during this critical time is essential for the development of strong and healthy puppies. Regular veterinary check-ups, a balanced diet, and abundant love and attention are integral parts of our process.

Socialization of Newborn and Young Puppies

Socialization is a core component of our breeding philosophy at Southcreek Shih-Tzus. From the moment our puppies are born, up to when they leave at 12 weeks of age to continue being socialized with their pack is also another key component to developing independence and individualization and learning how to interact  properly and happily with siblings and other dogs in the future, they are introduced to a loving and nurturing atmosphere where they are surrounded by family and other pets. This early socialization helps to cultivate well-adjusted, happy dogs that are accustomed to human interaction and a variety of experiences. We take pride in raising puppies that are not only physically healthy but also emotionally balanced, ready to integrate seamlessly into their new homes. Our dedication to providing a rich social environment ensures that our puppies grow up to be confident and loving companions.
